*update*  I can't help myself. The shapes in this collection are amazing. My mind is melting. Forget art you can wear, this is architecture you can wear. Her work reminds me of a more minimal Mary Katrantzou.

I know that pastels have been one of the biggest trends for spring, but I never liked them until I saw this editorial. Mixed with the sharper cuts and metallic accents, they look really, really cool. Also, how sick are the sunglasses in the first shot??? I'm in love!

Katie Ermilio Spring 2012

Forgive me for making this post so long, but I didn't want to leave any of the beautiful images out! Two of my favorite creative minds -photographer Jamie Beck and designer Katie Ermilio- collaborated to create this stunning look book for Katie's Spring 2012 collection. I love Katie's work, so I was heavily anticipating the shots from the new season. She never disappoints! The clothes are amazing (The dresses, especially. But her separates are fantastic as well.) and I love every special added detail, whether it's a bow or a ruffle. Jamie's photography really brings the pieces to life. All in all, a really amazing collection and lookbook! I highly recommend that you check out the full collection here. (Yes, there is more awesomeness, and you should check it out.
