Checking Out Francis by Christian Francis Roth!

I got the awesome opportunity a while back to check out Francis by Christian Francis Roth and see the spring 2012 collection. I love Christian's work! This collection is so light and exciting. Entitled "The Good Life" I feel like it really continues the story he started last season with his "Mod Life" collection (see it here) for fall 2011, but here the concept has been bathed in bold prints and patterns. Mod, sixties, geometric, and bold. What's not to love? Read on to see some detail shots, plus my favorite looks form spring 2012.

Project Alabama Spring 2012

I recently got the awesome opportunity to check out Project Alabama's spring 2012 collection, and I totally fell in love with it! Soft fabrics, light breezy colors, with gorgeous magentas and blush tones throughout the collection. It's really refreshing to see a return to soft romantic silhouettes after so many seasons of harsh, intense shapes and colors. I really loved the embroidery and original fabrics showcased. I think it's fantastic when brands add little interesting details!

Pretty Prints At Eva Franco

How fantastic are these original prints at Eva Franco??? Digital flowers, houses, maps, keys, safety pins, lace, stripes, embroidery, and of course, polka dots. I love it all. I got to see the fall 2011 and spring 2012 collections a few weeks ago, and the fun prints just made my whole day. I seriously love Eva Franco. The brand has this sense of ladylike whimsy that is so me. The dresses just scream fun, but they maintain a sense of sophistication at the same time.  I would wear any piece in the collection in a heartbeat. What's better then a pretty dress in a pretty print? Here are some of my favorite looks from spring 2012!

Checking Out Bloch Spring 2012!

I positively adore ballet flats to no end, and if you're an intern like myself, you know that ballet flats are the ideal shoes for everyday wear.  Also, let's just get real- there isn't an outfit that doesn't benefit from a ballet flat! I was so happy for the chance to check out Bloch's Spring 2012 collection of flats. The colors and designs are so fun, and I could see any pair having a permanent home in my closet.

Checking Out AIKO!

I got to check out AIKO not too long ago, and I totally fell in love with all of cozy knits and bright hues! The knits are beyond perfect for this fall, especially with the weather cooling down, and they'll also transition seamlessly into spring. While I was checking out the Spring 2012 and Resort Spring 2011 collections, I really took notice of the details. I loved the intricate knits and fun prints!

 I want to wear this. And I want to wear it now.
