Behind The Scenes at Delpozo Spring 2014

I've been following Delpozo since the brand's start in 2013, and I've always been in awe of its ability to be consistently both beautiful and ridiculously cool. Check out the full collection in all its girly glory here!

The Perfection That Is Marchesa Fall 2014

I'm swooning over the little details in Marchesa's Fall 2014 collection, captured by one of my favorite photographers, Jamie Beck. I love the uper-girly fluffy elements, and the oversized romantic bows. This collection is a dream!

A Beautiful Game: Milou Sluis by Signe Vilstrup for Vanity Fair Italia

Why do I suddenly feel the urge to buy expensive shiny dresses and dark lipstick? Oh wait, because this editorial is amazing. Take me back to the thirties!
Have an amazing day, Lovelies!

"A Play Of White" Tim Walker And Caroline Trentini For Vogue Italia March 2006

Photos via here, there, and everywhere.

Good glory, it's been a while. Sorry for the blogging and Tumblr hiatus (and sparse tweeting). Spring break happened, and I neglected all my social media accounts in the name of fun. But fear not! I should be back to regular blogging starting in 3... 2... 1... NOW.

I'm a complete and total sucker for a good Tim Walker editorial (and let's just be honest- all his work is fantastic.) Finding this wonderful editorial from 2006 put a smile on my face and a flutter in my heart. Sometimes, I come home from fashion week thinking that the industry is all just a big circus. But finding editorials like the ones that Tim shoots reminds me that fashion can be utterly magical.

Wang Xiao by Laurie Bartley for Elle US March 2013

There's so much beauty in this editorial. You can practically smell the scent of the rain and feel the mist making your hair stick to back of your neck. I love when photographs transport the viewer to another world.

Dressing For College With Bardot

Yes, you read that correctly. I"M GOING TO COLLEGE. And soon, too! I've been accepted to BYU (aka, my dream school) for the summer 2013 semester. I honestly can't wait. I've already picked my housing and classes, and I'm so ready to dive into the college environment. It really breaks my heart to have to leave my family and friends earlier than expected, but I'm looking forward to the new experiences and friends that college will bring. Also, my blog will continue to be updated, so fear not!

But now that I've got all things school-related sorted out, what do I do about clothes? I'll be making the *very* dramatic culture shift from New York to Utah, and I really don't want to loose my darker, more edgy NY style in favor of Utah's sunnier, sweeter fashion sense. Bardot to the rescue! They have some of the sickest accessories, and I'm in love with their uber-trendy dresses. Here are my favorite pieces from their website that I'm dying to take with me to college:

This is an awesome piece. Peplums have been hot for a few seasons now, and this is a great way to add a peplum to any look in a matter of seconds.

Utah weather is skitso. It can be 87 degrees one day and snowing the next, so I have a feeling that hoodies are going to come in really handy.

Plain. Pure. Perfect.

I'm normally not a fan of clutches because they don't leave you hands-free, however, with a strap option this bag would be gorgeous. Practicality first!

Again, this will be great for unpredictable Utah weather.

Be. Still. My. Soul.

Compensation for this post was provided by Bardot. Opinions expressed here are my own.

The Awesomeness That Was Viktor And Rolf Fall 2013

I love the oversized bow details at V&R! Despite the fact that the collection is a really avant garde, it's actually one of their most wearable collections to date. I'm always obsessed with the themes that they choose to incorporate into their collections, and I think the bows are gorgeous (and really fun). Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go glue bows to everything I own...
