Hannah MacGibbon Is Out At Chloe

I was so sad when I found out  Hannah MacGibbon is leaving Chloe! I'm interested to see what the new creative director Clare Waight Keller does with the brand. Yet, I'll be deeply missing Hannah.

The amount of handwork and detail that goes into a Viktor and Rolf collection never ceases to amaze me. Just stunning creations. I love how they played with the multiple cuffs.

Let Us Away (To Fashion Week!)

Here are my tickets to the Academy of Art University fashion show! I'm ridiculously excited. My train leaves at 6am tomorrow, and that should give me enough time to make it to the conference at 9am. I have my outfits all picked out and lint-rolled, my trusty purse is filled to the brim with business cards, and I'm in the process of packing. I have had so much fun getting ready for the show and the IFB conference. If only I had a dime for every time my dad has said "There's a conference for fashion bloggers? What?" 

I found this hat today ('found' meaning I found it in mom's closet) and I love it! I'm planning to wear it tomorrow. It's a wide brim, and it reminded me exactly of the hats in Marc Jacobs and Prada's S/S 2011 shows. I think Hermes did some too. I love this thing! (sorry for the bad picture quality)

In other news, Jason Wu's Fall 2011 inspiration board was released! I loooove it. It's so elegant and I can only imagine what the collection will look like.

I hope you had a lovely weekend! If you saw the previous post, you'll know that I finally got to see Wicked! It totally blew me away with it's absolute awesomeness.  I have known all the songs for years and it was beautiul to see them played out in front of me. I cried at during For Good. What a powerful number. The second it was over the first thought through my head was "when can I see this again!".  It was one of the most wonderful things I ever had the privilege to watch.

So We say farewell to New York Fashion Week. WE have London next week! Meaning I get my Burberry fix! haha. As well as Pringle Of Scotland and Christopher Kane. I'm pretty exited. I hope you loved the shows this week. Oscar De La Renta had some AMAZING gowns. I  loved ADAM, Jill Stuart, Jason Wu and I was pleasantly suprised with Proenza Schouler.

I love how beautifully balanced this look is! There's just enough color, so it doesn't seem like the look has too much black.  I'm loving that amazing Blazer she has on! All in all, one of my favorite looks from New York Fashion Week.

Latest Obsession

 I will be perfect a leather backpack this year. Too bad I have no clue where to find one..
Monday is the first day of my Sophomore year! I'm taking a few interesting new classes. I'm also exited to let everyone know that I started courses in Fashion! I feel like it's going to be a good year. :)
