Visiting Oscar de le Renta- The Office

If you missed my previous posts about visiting the OdlR showroom, see them here and here.
Today's post is the third and final installment of my Oscar de la Renta shots (sad face). I'm so excited to show you a little bit of the office!
A gorgeous illustration in Oscar's office. Also, can you see just some of the hundreds of books in his library? I was dying. All the fashion and art books I have ever wanted in one place.
This issuch an epic picture. It's Audrey Hepburn and Oscar, and Audrey is eating french fries. I love Audrey more and more each day...
Just a few of Oscar's many books.
In the sewing room, the ladies tack up pictures of dresses, as well as shots of their family and grandchildren. Erika pointed this out to me; a picture of Jesus and a picture of Oscar right beside it. "I don't try to understand the symbolism behind this" she said. I don't really get it either. But it makes me smile nonetheless.
An awful shot of an impressive notions collection
Just some of the thousands of fabrics in the fabric room. How gorgeous are all those colors?!
In the main lobby. Pictures of Karlie Kloss from the fall campaign.

I envy everyone who gets to work here! They also pointed out that Michelle Williams is wearing an Oscar dress of the cover of October's issue of Vogue. Cool, no? Big thanks to Oscar de la Renta for letting me come in, and thanks to Ashley for the use of her camera.

I heart Hermes

I love the whole 'cinderella' theme.

Hello lovelies! Ny fashion week is OVER. whewwww. I'm tired. Haha I made a goal to watch every single show. 20 down, 150 to go.
This was taken backstage at Alexander Wang.
I think this is how everyone should walk everyday.. minus the 'no arm swinging'. I think That's fine.

Jason Wu By far was one of my favorite shows. Everything was so pretty.

I saw lots of this nutual camel color. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rayna's hair.

This Rebecca Taylor dress was one of my fav looks from the entire week. It's so perfect. I would wear it in a heart beat.

I love Karlie Kloss.

hello! I hope everyone has been liking NY fashion week so far. I LOVED Marc Jacobs last night. The entire show was wonderful. Right down to the music.
I realized recently that I didn't do any fashion  show reviews. I realize it's because I'm not a pro. I'm no Fashion Critic. I'm just a kid from Brooklyn trying to get my parents to drive me to manhattan each week so I can go to LIM. I study fashion history hard. I work hard. I love fashion.  I'm not Tavi Gevinson. I don't try to be (seriously, our personal styles are incredibly different). I don't have 1 million subscribers. I'm just me. I just love fashion. That's what is important.

Bridal

I was never into bridal. I was just like "I'm 14! why am I looking at wedding gowns!?"(which is really ironic considering I worked at a bridal store every week last summer). But lately I have seen some of the absolute loveliest gowns. Here are the ones I liked best.
