Lately, minimalism has practically been my middle name. Ever since the trend started appearing, I have been totally in love. So I was especially overjoyed when I saw this look on Kate Bosworth! I looooove the bold orange color + the simple cut. Not to mention that her coat is perfect. Wanting. This. Look. So. Bad.

Avant-Garde

I love it when people can take avant-garde qualities and turn them into wearable garments. I the result is so lovely.  (Also, the skirt is beautiful!) It reminds me of the shaved tulle dresses and looks from Victor and Rolf's Spring 2010 collection.

My Lovely (very) Little Conversation With Kylie Minogue

So every year my family wakes up at 2 am and camps out at the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. I love going and it's tons of fun. For each person in my family, there's a moment that makes their day. For my sister Rebecca, it was one of the members of Big Time Rush pointing RIGHT AT HER (or so she thinks... she could be right... she was screaming pretty loud.) For mom, I think it was seeing Alton Brown, and so on.

I saw Kylie Mingoue a block away and said "You've got to be kidding me. She's wearing Chanel. Not fair." and I told my mom and my sister. By some wonderful accident, she stopped right in front of us and my sister Olivia screamed "We love your outfit!!!" and luckily Kylie heard us. She struck a pose that highlighted the outfit perfectly, she yelled "It's Chanel"  and I yelled back "I knoooowww!"  and that's when it happened.  Kylie Minoque and I bonded for a brief moment over the wonder of Chanel.  She laughed, I laughed and then... the float moved on. 

I love that she's wearing a head wrap! I really need one. My peacoat doesn't have a hood on it, and I was freezinggggg so I put a scarf over my head like a babushka.

Vogue UK December issue is out and Emma is on the cover! I'm incredibly tempted to drop $10 on the issue. It's insane how much I love this girl.

I love the elegance of this look. That's a hard color to pull off, but Miss Kruger does it beautifully.

This pic is probably my favorite out of the entire set. The majestic shape of her skirt is very beautiful.

I wish I had red hair

So pretty. When your hair is this color; greens, purples and blues jut look fantastic on you. 

It makes me want bright read hair like Allison and Karen instead of my dark brown locks.

I want a chic purple car that just happens to match my outfit. No fair.

I absolutely adore Emma Watson.

I love the colors they used in this shoot. Purples & Turquoises! They look so pretty!

One of my favorite things about this is the skirts. I love the fitted pouf skirts. (all my skirts are like that)

What I love about Emma is that she can be doing anything, anywhere, and make it look incredibly chic. She's so beautifully posh. No wonder Burberry got her for their Fall 2009 AND Spring 2010 campaigns.

Tilda Swinton in Celine

Oh goodness me. Absolute amazingness is the word for miss Swinton. Every time she walks the red carpet I make it a goal to see what she is wearing. She has an incredibly bold look and I often find myself wanting whatever hair color she has because it always looks perfect. I liked this so much I cut it out of a magazine and put it up in my room. I just can't get over it. 

So what have we learned today?

1.Tilda Swinton rocks

2. She can pull off any hair color

3. Tilda + Phoebe Philo's creations = perfection.
